Hannah Ministry


Hannah Ministry is a Christian nonprofit organization seeking to provide opportunities to children orphaned by war and disease in Northern Rwanda, with special emphasis on the child-headed households.  In 2005, Lindsay Gregoire of St. Peter's spent part of her summer working with Hannah Ministry and was deeply touched by the tragedies and the triumphs of these orphans who are working to support their siblings and lift themselves out of poverty.  "I thank God every day for the opportunity given me to go to Rwanda and meet such wonderful people."

 

St. Peter's continues to support Hannah Ministry with annual donations and fund-raising.  The cost to enrich the lives of these young people in Rwanda is so small compared to the circumstances that brought them to the Ministry.
